Thousands of new Aviation Jobs are in demand

The aviation industry in India is experiencing a surge in demand for new workforce, with airlines, regulatory bodies, ATC, and airport operators all looking to hire.
Air India, Air India Express, and Akasa Air actively hiring, with plans to recruit hundreds or even thousands of new employees in the coming years.
The aviation ministry and DGCA are also increasing their workforce to meet the demands of monitoring the growing fleet and expanding airports in the country.
Akasa Air is another airline excited to increase its workforce. The airline has said it plans to hire almost 1,000 additional staff members by March 2024. If all goes according to plan, the airline’s employee count could touch 3,000 by that time.

Rising demand, Hotels plans expansion rapidly.

NEW DELHI :India’s largest hotel chains are rapidly expanding their portfolios amid record-high room rates. In the last week alone, half a dozen hotel companies across India have announced new development plans, including management contracts with independent owners and launching properties signed in the past few years, to capitalize on the soaring demand for hotel accommodations.
Buoyed by hotel demand outstripping supply, many top hotel operators are signing up new properties in the first quarter of FY24. Hospitality industry consultants estimate that between 100-150 hotels could have already been signed this year.

Emirates Group Plans Huge Global Recruitment Campaign

The Emirates Group is picking up where it left off with another recruitment drive for more than 180 different roles, hosting open days and other events across six continents in the process.
As well as the usual suspects, such as pilots and cabin crew, the Group is also looking for "engineers, IT professionals, and customer service agents at both Emirates and dnata."
Applicants are promised a quick turnaround, with the process completed within a day and feedback within 48 hours.
When it comes to IT, the Emirates Group hopes to recruit a similar number of individuals, with over 400 new employees sought across a variety of roles in this sector. Meanwhile, the Emirates Group also wants to expand its customer service team, with part and full-time positions available at Emirates Airport Services, dnata, Marhaba Meet & Greet Services, or at its contact centers.

Vistara only Indian airline to reach the top 20 globally and IndiGo has bags 43rd spot

Vistara and IndiGo are the only two Indian airlines featured in a list of top 100 airlines globally.
Vistara, according to Skytrax’s World Airline Awards, also featured among the ‘World's Best Airline Cabin Crew 2023’ list on the 19th spot out of 20 names. Vistara also bagged the 8th spot on the list of top 10 airlines in Asia.
The airline has featured on Skytrax’s list of top 20 airlines for the second time in a row. It won the 'Best Airline in India and South Asia' award for the third consecutive year, ‘Best Airline Staff in India and South Asia’ for the fifth time in a row, ‘Best Cabin Crew in India and South Asia’ for the third consecutive year and ‘Best Business Class Airline in India and South Asia’ for the second time. It also bagged the 20th spot in the ‘World’s Best Inflight Entertainment 2023’ category.
Vistara is a 51:49 joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA). The airline currently has a fleet of 61 aircraft, including 46 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321, one Boeing 737-800NG and four Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Meanwhile, IndiGo has been named the third best low-cost airline by Skytrax. Air India was on the 9th spot on the list of the 10 most improved airlines.
